Ecostrike play a incendiary, impassioned brand of straight edge metallic hardcore that recalls One Truth-era Strife and early Earth Crisis, but are far from being a simple retread of 90’s past. Now W.A.R is a pretty solid album. These guys actually got the right direction. It's groovy, it's heavy, it has slower and moshing parts. It's everything I asked for and missed on the debut album. Moreover I dig the lyrics, focused on discipline and strength. Imho it really gets the essence of modern hardcore: simple, yet catchy, heavy riffs.
